“We were so impressed with the service from Armstrong Landscapes. We received very clear quotes from Graham throughout the process, & the guys who came to do the work were wonderful. They were professional, courteous - & always kind to our 3 children. They cleaned up each evening which was much appreciated, & we are so pleased with the result. We would recommend them to anyone - & already have ideas for future projects with them!”
Vicki, St Albans
“We highly recommend Graham and his company. His team constructed our garden from a totally blank new build to the beautiful garden which we now enjoy. The work involved levelling the site, improving the soil, dealing with drainage issues, laying paving and paths, erecting a pergola and shed, laying a lawn and planting of trees and shrubs. The team on site were very professional, consulting us at each stage and giving excellent advice. They worked very hard and were meticulous in their attention to detail. We are very delighted with the result.”
Rob & Jo, Caddington
“We highly recommend Graham and his team. From the careful pre-planning to the efficient execution of several projects, we cannot fault them. They have expertly cleared unwanted trees and shrubs, fixed fences and gates, built retaining walls for flower beds and reconstructed an old collapsed patio. The team are very well organised, hardworking, polite and considerate. They are a highly reliable ‘Go-to’ resource for major garden projects. Armstrong Landscapes are always a pleasure to deal with!”
Mr. & Mrs. S, Harpenden
“Armstrong Landscapes have worked for the West Herts Crematorium for many years now on projects such as woodland paths, York stone paving and Flower Terrace, and complete rejuvenation of our award winning Babies Garden. Each job is carried out with due sympathy to mourners and completed to an outstanding quality by a team of expert tradesmen. The only problem we have is that we have to order work well in advanced as they are usually booked up for many months.”
Manager and Surveyor, West Herts Crematorium
“A job superbly done, cannot thank you enough to leave the boys here to get the paving re-laid. They cleaned the patio and helped to set up the sprinkler, instructed me on what to do, like not to step on the grass, pulled a hose through the ducting and installed the gate.
Absolutely wonderful! Everything looks really good, ready for my Easter Lunch with friends, who will be impressed. I highly recommend your company.....”
Henriette, Spring View
“To Armstrong Landscapes
Many thanks for the patio work you completed for us. We are very happy with the work your crew did. They were hard working and pleasant to have around. They kept me updated and suggested alternatives/options, so altogether a very good experience.
I would highly recommend you to others.”
Mrs R, Harpenden
“Your men are really great, so conscientious and professional. They worked hard, quietly and diligently. They are an asset to your company and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them. Never having had a garden re-designed before, I was worried about the whole procedure. Seeing the end result has made it all worthwhile. Thank you for your patience and expertise and thank you to your men for making my garden”

The old nursery rhyme is brought to life in a small garden that combines traditional plants and planting with modern landscaping materials. Two things were a main inspiration – a mulberry tree that despite its long tradition in British garden spaces, beautiful leaves and edible fruit isn’t planted often anymore. And the origins of the old nursery rhyme going back to female prisoners walking around the ‘mulberry bush’ with their children.
Mulberry Tree is a key element and a focal point of the garden that is a place to unwind and to forget about the rest of the world outside.
